Powerful Bite
Godzilla's jaws combine enormous bite force, sharp teeth, and immense neck strength, allowing him to puncture Titan flesh, maintain crushing holds, and manipulate opponents during grappling exchanges. Across the MonsterVerse he has used his bite against foes ranging from the MUTOs and Ghidorah to Kong, Tiamat, and the Skar King.

Mechanisms & Combat Analysis
Canon LoreJaw structure and attack mechanics
Although Godzilla's head is relatively compact compared with his immense body, it is supported by a thick neck and extremely powerful musculature. His rows of pointed teeth are suited to puncturing and retaining flesh, while movements of the head and neck allow him to turn a successful bite into a violent pulling or tearing action.
Godzilla rarely treats biting as a single isolated strike. His jaws frequently function as a biological clamp, locking onto an opponent's limbs, neck, shoulder, or equipment so that he can disrupt balance, drag the enemy from position, or set up another attack.
Major biting feats
In 2014, Godzilla's bite drew blood from the Female MUTO, demonstrating that his teeth could penetrate Titan tissue. A far more dramatic feat occurred during Godzilla: King of the Monsters. In the underwater battle off Mexico, where Godzilla held the environmental advantage over King Ghidorah, he seized one of Ghidorah's necks and tore the left head completely from the body. Ghidorah survived only because of his extraordinary regenerative biology.
Godzilla vs. Kong further emphasized the bite as a grappling tool. In Hong Kong, Godzilla clamped his jaws around Kong's neck and dragged him away. Later, when Kong mounted his back, Godzilla bit the ape's hand and used the opening to throw him to the ground. He also removed Kong's axe from his own leg with his jaws and tossed the weapon aside.
In Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, Godzilla bites a chunk from Tiamat during their confrontation at her Arctic lair. During the final battle in Rio, Evolved Godzilla catches the Skar King's Whipslash in his mouth, uses it to yank the ape tyrant violently to the ground, and then crushes part of the weapon between his jaws.
Grappling and restraint
The true effectiveness of Godzilla's bite comes from how naturally it integrates with his entire close-quarters fighting system. Once he obtains a grip, he can combine jaw pressure with the strength of his neck, legs, and torso to pull or destabilize opponents many tens of thousands of tons in mass.
Against humanoid Titans such as Kong, biting a hand or neck can temporarily neutralize their greatest advantage: dexterous arms and weapon use. Against elongated Titans such as Tiamat, it provides a direct method of damaging an opponent even during constriction. Against the Skar King, Godzilla turns the enemy's own weapon into a point of leverage.
MonsterVerse supplementary material further indicates that Evolved Godzilla possesses increased bite strength alongside greater flexibility and energy capacity. His jaws therefore represent not merely an ancient predatory trait, but a combat weapon that has become increasingly formidable as his biology continues to evolve.
