The Hellhawk (scientific classification: *Accipiter Infernum*) is an aggressive, predatory flying superspecies blending anatomical traits of predatory vultures and bats (Avian-Chiropteran Superspecies), roosting in the subterranean cavern vaults, volcanic vents, and ancestral ruins of the Hollow Earth in the MonsterVerse. Spanning a 6-meter wingspan cloaked in sound-dampening feathers over leathery flight membranes, armed with a hooked raptorial tearing beak and razor-sharp grasping talons, the Hellhawk dominates mid-tier aerial predation in the underground realms. Flocks roost in colonies numbering hundreds along the ceilings of titanic cavern halls, using ultrasonic echolocation to glide silently in pitch darkness. In *Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)*, awakening atomic resonance within the ancestral Kong throne hall disturbed a roost of Hellhawks, inciting a frantic swarm assault upon Apex Cybernetics personnel.
