The Psychovulture (scientific classification: *Vultura Insanus*) is a hyper-aggressive, carnivorous flying superspecies blending anatomical features of predatory chiropterans and prehistoric pterosaurs, roosting along the stormy sea crags of Skull Island in the MonsterVerse. Unlike their leaf-mimicking relatives, Psychovultures regularly feed on indigenous neurotoxic pufferfish, inducing an irreversible state of violent frenzy. Spanning an 8-meter wingspan draped in leathery black-purple flight membranes, Psychovultures are distinguished by unblinking bioluminescent red eyes and specialized bio-electric sacs within their gullets capable of discharging lethal arcs of blue lightning. Flocks served as vanguard aerial shock troops for Titan Camazotz during the atmospheric storm crisis that enveloped Skull Island.
