Skullcrawlers (classified by Monarch as *Cranium Reptant*) are an ancient subterranean species of hyper-voracious reptilian predators indigenous to the deep caverns beneath Skull Island and the Hollow Earth. Defined by an anomalous bipedal anatomy consisting solely of two massive muscular forelimbs and a serpentine tail, combined with a ghostly white skull-shaped cranial carapace, Skullcrawlers represent the ancestral nemesis of Kong's lineage. Driven by an accelerated metabolism that leaves them in a state of perpetual starvation, they consume everything in their path. The alpha specimen, the Skull Devil (Ramarak), slaughtered Kong's entire family, sparking a generational feud for survival on Skull Island.
