According to the findings of paleontologist Professor Kyohei Yamane, Godzilla represents an intermediate evolutionary bridge between marine reptiles and terrestrial carnivorous dinosaurs from approximately two million years ago during the Jurassic period. For eons, the beast remained in subterranean stasis deep beneath the ocean floor, sustained by natural geothermal vents and trace seabed radiation.

This ancient equilibrium was violently annihilated on March 1, 1954, when the United States military detonated the Castle Bravo thermonuclear test at Bikini Atoll (15 megatons). The cataclysmic blast incinerated the creature's habitat and saturated its biology with extreme doses of Strontium-90. Mutated into a towering 50-meter colossus, Godzilla emerged as an ambulatory nuclear reactor driven by agony and instinct to exact vengeance upon human civilization.
